KLM to suspend direct flights to Tehran

Summary

For commercial reasons KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has decided to suspend its direct flights to Tehran, Iran for the time being as of 24 September.

As a result of the negative results and financial outlook for the Tehran operation, the last flight will take off from Amsterdam on 22 September 2018 and land at Schiphol on 23 September.

Passengers with a ticket for a flight from Amsterdam to Tehran or vice-versa on or after 24 September will be transferred to the most suitable alternative or financially compensated.
