High profit-sharing rate for KLM staff thanks to good operating results

KLM again had an excellent year in 2018 and all of our staff will benefit!

This year, KLM will distribute a total of EUR 168 million gross to its employees.

This marks the fourth consecutive year that KLM’s employees will share in the airline’s profits. KLM will pay out a total of more than one and a half months of gross salary in the form of profit-sharing. You can expect to receive the amount on your account in April. The improved profit-sharing scheme is outlined in the Collective Labour Agreement negotiated in recent years, with productivity in exchange for profit sharing. The amount is comparable to last year’s profit-sharing pay-out (for the year 2017).

“I’m incredibly proud of the contribution made by all KLM employees towards our excellent operating results of more than EUR 1.05 billion and our good operating margin of 9.8%. For this reason, we will once again be able to distribute a high profit-sharing rate this year. We have only managed to achieve this by working together. I am therefore also convinced that, in our centenary year, we will all continue to follow our chosen path and achieve great results once again.”
