Situation in Turkey

Summary

This morning KLM decided to cancel its KL1613 (and return flight KL1614) flight which was scheduled to leave Amsterdam at 11:35 hours to Istanbul

As soon as there is more information available, a decision will be made about the rest of the flights to and from Istanbul. We have asked our international stations not to send passengers to Amsterdam who have on onward connection to Istanbul.

On the 15th of July, due to the situation in Turkey, the KL1617 returned to Amsterdam after it refuelled in Vienna. The airplane had 184 passengers on board. Customers have been offered hotel accommodation in Amsterdam and will be rebooked as soon as KLM has more information about the situation and the operation of the airports in Turkey. Consequently the return flight (Istanbul – Amsterdam) KL1610 on the 16th of July has also been cancelled.
