Passenger traffic rose in November, with KLM welcoming 2.0% more passengers aboard than in November 2018. Revenue passenger kilometres (RPKs) were up 3.2%, with available seat kilometres (ASKs) up 2.4%, resulting in a slight increase in passenger load factor of 0.7% compared to last November. Growth in passenger figures was primarily driven by traffic on routes to Asia and North, South and Central America.

Passenger traffic also rose at Transavia by 1.8% revenue seat kilometres (RSKs) which, combined with a less pronounced increase in capacity of 0.4% ASKs, resulted in a passenger load factor of 92.4%. This is a great achievement and 1.3 %^pts higher than November 2018.

Cargo booked a lower load factor, due to a 2.0% decline in revenue tonne-kilometres (RTKs) and a capacity increase of 1.2% available tonne-kilometres (ATKs). This continues the trend seen over the last few months.
