On Thursday 2 November, storm Ciarán passes over the Netherlands.
Safety always comes first at KLM, both on the ground and in the air. KLM's analyses show that the expected wind force 9 combined with wind gusts of 95 to 110 kilometres per hour could lead to unsafe situations on the platform. The safety of colleagues on the ground takes precedence.
This is the reason why it has been decided to cancel the arriving and departing KLM flights from early afternoon until the end of the day. We realise this is very inconvenient for our customers and apologise for the inconvenience. Customers affected will be rebooked or refunded.
