Situation Venezuela - impact on KLM flights

KLM is committed to rebooking passengers who were unable to travel to or from Curaçao due to the situation in Venezuela on the next available flight as quickly as possible. In addition, we are deploying an extra aircraft with a capacity of 380 passengers. This extra flight, KL733, will depart from Schiphol to Curaçao on Monday, January 5, and return from Curaçao to the Netherlands on Tuesday, January 6, with flight number KL734. We expect to be able to bring all travelers to their destination within a few days.

KLM has decided to resume flights to and from Curacao, Aruba, Bonaire, Sint Maarten, Port of Spain, Georgetown, and Bridgetown on Sunday, January 4. For passengers whose flights were canceled on January 3, we are making every effort to rebook them on the next available flight. 
KLM is closely monitoring the situation in Venezuela, with the safety of our passengers and employees being our top priority. We advise travelers to continue to follow the latest flight information.

Due to the situation in Venezuela, KLM has canceled a number of flights. The following flights scheduled to depart on Saturday, January 3, have been canceled: KL733, KL735, KL765, KL775, and KL783. Both the outbound and return flights for these routes are canceled. This affects a total of 2,600 passengers. KLM is closely monitoring the situation and will make a decision later today regarding the impact on flights scheduled in the coming days to and from Curaçao, Aruba, Bonaire, Sint Maarten, Port of Spain, Georgetown, and Bridgetown.

Flights that were en route from these destinations have safely arrived in Amsterdam. For several other destinations, this means the route will need to be adjusted. KLM continues to monitor the situation closely and prioritizes the safety of its passengers and employees. Due to the situation in Venezuela, the airspace around Curacao has been closed. KLM's flights scheduled for today to Curacao, Aruba, Bonaire, Sint Maarten, Port of Spain, Georgetown, and Bridgetown have been delayed. A decision will be made later today as to whether the flights can still be operated. This concerns a total of five flights, carrying approximately 1,200 passengers. Flights that were en route from these destinations have arrived safely in Amsterdam. For a number of other destinations, this means that the route will have to be adjusted. KLM is monitoring the situation closely and is prioritizing the safety of its passengers and employees. We advise travelers to continue to monitor the latest flight information.
