KLM will be serving meals by leading Dutch chef Richard van Oostenbrugge on World Business Class flights out of Amsterdam between 26 October 2014 and 22 January 2015.

For many years, KLM has offered its World Business Class passengers menus created by leading Dutch chefs. KLM continues to invest in its onboard service by working with top chefs and sommeliers. Past menus have been designed by Sergio Herman, Richard Ekkebus, Jonnie Boer and Mario Ridder.

Richard van Oostenbrugge began his career in Gstaad in Switzerland and is praised for his command of precise French techniques. At the end of 2011 van Oostenbrugge started on a new adventure in Amsterdam at the luxury five-star hotel De L’Europe as Executive Chef of the restaurant Bord’Eau (**). Richard was this year named Chef of the Year by Gault Millau. “Creative cooking with the finest ingredients,” best describes Richard’s style.
