KLM Resumes Scheduled Service to Turin

Summary

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has expanded its network by adding three new destinations. Since 26 May, KLM has been flying twice daily to Turin and once a day to Bilbao and Zagreb.

I’m glad that after ten years KLM will once again be flying to Turin under its own flight code. Italy is the fourth most important market for us in Europe and the addition of Turin—KLM’s sixth destination Italy—signals a further consolidation of our position in Europe. Turin is an attractive destination, whether for business people, tourists, or students.
Pieter Elbers, deputy CEO & Chief Operating Officer:

KLM Cityhopper will operate the daily flights to Turin using a Fokker 70 aircraft, which offers space for 74 passengers in Business, Economy Comfort and Economy Class. Flight KL1555 from Amsterdam to Turin will depart at 09:20 and arrive at 11:05, local time. Flight KL1556 will depart from Turin at 11:45 and arrive at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol at 13:40.

The evening flight (KL1559) departs from Amsterdam (*) at 20:30 and lands in Turin at 22:15. The return flight, KL1554, leaves the next day at 06:45, arriving in Amsterdam 08:40.

Turin is a city in the northwest of Italy. It lies at the foot of the Alps and is close to the border with France, all of which makes it the perfect starting point for a winter holiday. It is also famous as being the capital of Italy’s automobile industry owing to the location of the FIAT plant there. The city has a rich history and is home to two important universities.
