KLM renews cooperation with Dutch top chef Jonnie Boer

Summary

As of today, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will be serving World Business Class meals created by leading Dutch three-star chef Jonnie Boer. Passengers departing from Amsterdam will be able to choose from a selection of starters, main courses and desserts.

Our World Business Class passengers greatly appreciated the meals created previously by Jonnie Boer in 2010 and 2015. KLM is therefore very pleased to be renewing cooperation. Jonnie has again developed eight fantastic menus for the forthcoming two-year period.
Miriam Kartman, KLM Executive Vice President Inflight Services
We’re truly honoured to be working with KLM for the third time. For the next two years, we’ll once again be providing an amazing culinary experience on board KLM’s flights.
Jonnie and Thérèse Boer

Jonnie’s wife Thérèse Boer, herself an accomplished sommelier, will join KLM’s wine board for the duration of the cooperative relationship to ensure that the wines compliment the dishes perfectly. These wines will be served on board with the meals from December.

KLM continually invests in its inflight products. What’s more, KLM has been serving World Business Class meals created by leading Dutch chefs for several years now. Cooperation of this nature reaffirms KLM’s commitment to invest in its inflight service. KLM previously cooperated with leading Dutch chefs including Jacob Jan Boerma, Cees Helder, Margot Janse, Sergio Herman, Richard Ekkebus, Mario Ridder and Richard Oostenbrugge.
