KLM now offers “Anytime For You” meals on flights to Tokyo

Summary

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines now also offers its “Anytime For You” culinary service to World Business Class passengers on flights between Amsterdam and Tokyo. This service offers a restaurant-like experience through an improved presentation of the freshly prepared dishes, allowing customers to decide for themselves what and when they wish to eat. The “when” aspect only applies on daytime flights. “Anytime For You” was previously introduced on flights to Bangkok and Amsterdam. From 1 July, this new concept will also be available on flights from Osaka.

'Anytime For You’ perfectly meets the wishes of our customers. This culinary service ensures greater choice and flexibility, thereby exceeding our customers’ expectations. This fits in perfectly with KLM’s ambition to create unforgettable experiences.
Martine van Streun - director Cabin Products & Service Engineering

KLM’s standard mealtimes don’t always coincide with customers’ needs and wishes. With “Anytime For You”, KLM offers passengers the freedom to plan their flight in terms of their own preferences with regard to food and drink, but also with regard to rest and work times.

Choice of five dishes

The “Anytime For You” menu consists of five dishes. The cold, warm, savoury, sweet and tasty-treats dishes can be prepared at any time (during daylight hours) and served in restaurant style. Passengers can also opt for a World Business Class three-course meal. Both menus are served by hand, ensuring that trolley use is kept to a minimum.

Personal service schedule

Cabin crew play an integral part in “Anytime For You”. They have completed special training in preparation for this new service. Crew set a personal service schedule in consultation with customers, ensuring that they have more control over their travel experience.
