KLM flies to more than 160 destinations this summer

Summary

Starting this summer, KLM will operate flights to 161 destinations worldwide. Seat capacity is increasing by 4%, and the airline expects to carry approximately 6.4 million passengers in July and August. North America (+9% more flights) and Southern Europe are showing particularly strong growth, with 25% more seats to Portugal and Croatia.

KLM is introducing six new routes this season. On intercontinental routes, these are San Diego, Georgetown (Guyana), and Hyderabad (starting in September). Within Europe, Ljubljana, Exeter and Biarritz are added. Bookings for San Diego, Biarritz and Ljubljana are already showing strong demand. The summer season kicks off with a busy weekend: from 4 to 6 July, KLM expects to welcome around 330,000 passengers on board.
