KLM CEO and prime minister Rutte visit China Southern
Prime Minister Rutte and KLM President & CEO Elbers together visited the Head Office of China Southern in Guangzhou, China. The Chairman of China Southern, Mr Wang welcomed the delegation and expressed his gratitude for the good relations between both countries and between KLM and China Southern in particular. The cooperative relationship began in 2006 with flights between Amsterdam and Beijing.

Together we have grown enormously, we have added new routes and we now cooperate highly successfully. As a result, our passengers are benefiting. However, this would not have been possible without the mutual confidence and ongoing professional efforts of both airlines. The fact that Prime Minister Rutte is visiting China Southern emphasises how important this is to the Netherlands.
