KLM affected due to a power cut at Schiphol airport

Due to a power cut this morning, Schiphol decided to close the entire airport temporarily.

Schiphol has since opened again, but check-in systems remained out of service and staff could not get to the airport.

As a result, KLM has already had to cancel forty European flights and passengers should prepare for serious delays.

KLM is doing all it can to help its passengers as well as possible. We are rebooking passengers on other flights and keeping them informed through a variety of channels. KLM is also advising its passengers to check their flight information regularly.
