Of the 200,000 Dutch students writing exams this year, no fewer than 35,000 registered for KLM’s “Geslaagde Actie” campaign. The twelve winning graduates each received two KLM tickets to a destination of their choice, anywhere in the world. 

]]>It is a longstanding Dutch tradition for high-school graduates to fly their school bag alongside the flag when they pass their exams. They have earned the right to kick back and relax! Their hard work deserves to be rewarded, which is why KLM once again surprised twelve graduates with free air tickets. One winner was chosen in each of the Dutch provinces and KLM teams set off in the early morning to place the tickets in the school bags of the twelve lucky winners.

This year the KLM tickets to dream destinations where handed out in Amersfoort, Apeldoorn, Brielle, Delfzijl, Dronten, Emmen, Harlingen, Hengelo, Tilburg, Uitgeest, Veere and Voerendaal.

KLM congratulates everyone who passed their exams and wishes the winners a wonderful journey!

The World Deal Weeks discount tickets can be booked from 7 through 25 September. During this period, you can also book special KLM Package Deals, which include tickets plus hotel and/or car rental.

The world is within reach for more people. This includes KLM’s new European destinations, as well as Sri Lanka, Costa Rica and Mauritius.

About the quiz
The campaign consists of two parts: a quiz with 11 questions and a timeline. The timeline gives an overview of MD-11 milestones and memories in photos, videos and words.

Anyone with a Facebook or Twitter account can take part in the quiz and stands to win various unique daily prizes, including an MD flight simulator session. If you don’t know an answer, the timeline will help you find it. Readers will discover how many tonnes of kerosene a KLM MD-11 can carry, which famous ladies KLM’s MD-11s are named after, and how many passenger seats there are aboard a KLM MD-11. Get all 11 questions right and you stand a chance to win the main prize.

The site will remain online for the rest of the year.
