KLM cancels flights due to runway restrictions at Schiphol

Owing to the storm predicted for tomorrow, Tuesday, 8 January 2019, runway capacity is expected to be highly restricted at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. Only one runway will be in use. KLM has therefore decided to cancel 159 European roundtrips scheduled for Tuesday. The passengers in question have been informed and rebooked. Cancelations due to limited runway capacity Schiphol because of storm

Due to the expected extreme wind at Schiphol tomorrow, Friday 21 September 2018, there will be very limited runway capacity at Schiphol. That is why KLM had to decide to cancel 100 European return flights. The passengers concerned will be informed and rebooked. KLM cancels 110 return flights on 18 January due to heavy storm

As a result of the heavy storm expected on Thursday, 18 January, runway capacity at Schiphol will be severely restricted. The heavy winds will also make it impossible to continue ground handling operations between 10:00 and 12:00 hours. KLM will therefore be cancelling 110 return flights in Europe on 18 January. The passengers concerned are being informed and rebooked. Additionally, travellers may be affected by delays throughout the course of the day. We therefore recommend that our passengers keep a close eye on KLM.com for the latest information on arrival and departure times.

As a result of the storm expected on Wednesday, 13 September 2017, limited runway capacity will be available for aircraft taking off and landing at Schiphol. As a precaution, KLM has cancelled 60 European round-trip flights on Wednesday, 13 September. Our passengers are currently being informed and rebooked.
