To support them in this process, they will engage Oliver Wyman, a leading international consultancy firm.

]]>The joint evaluation will focus on the effectiveness of operational and communication processes during the winter weather, with specific attention to runway and apron capacity, de-icing, passenger communications, industry collaboration, and safety. The aim of the evaluation is to identify opportunities for improvement to enhance operations and the overall passenger experience.

The findings and recommendations are expected to be shared with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management by the end of March.

Once again, we have had to cancel 25 intercontinental flights and 105 European flights today. This results in part from the fact that many of our aircraft and crews are stuck at out stations while we need them at Schiphol. KLM is doing all it can to get back on schedule as quickly as possible and to bring our stranded passengers to their destinations as soon we can. The response time of our service centers is longer than you normally expect from us. We advise our passengers to check our website KLM.com regularly for up-to-date departure and arrival times. KLM encourages passengers to only come to the airport if their flight is actually scheduled to leave today.
