This rights issue follows a series of measures Air France-KLM has already taken in 2020 and 2021.

New and existing shareholders are participating in the rights issue. The Dutch State also announced it intends to buy shares to maintain its current 9.3% stake at the same level. Parliamentary approval is still required for this.
