The World Business Class meals were created by leading chef Onno Kokmeijer of the Amsterdam restaurant Ciel Bleu, which holds two Michelin stars.</p>

]]></pp:boilerplate><description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Local ingredients</strong><br />The meals served during the festival are made with all sorts of products sourced from local suppliers. Passengers will enjoy beef supplied by De Vrije Koe (the Free Cow), which is striving to reintroduce indigenous Dutch cattle, such as the Blaarkop, in the Netherlands. These cows are allowed to graze unhindered in the nature reserves of North Holland, where they receive no additional feed or growth supplements. KLM and De Vrije Koe have entered into a long-term partnership. This initiative is a new step in raising the sustainability of our catering. To achieve this, KLM is working in close cooperation with its suppliers. This year we will also be serving MSC-certified North-Sea sole, traditional Dutch &ldquo;stamppot&rdquo; mash with chicken sausages, &ldquo;Bossche bollen&rdquo; confectionery, and chocolate sprinkles.</p><p><strong>Top chef Onno Kokmeijer</strong><br />Onno Kokmeijer created all the meals that will be served in World Business Class during the festival. Onno is Executive Chef & Manager of the Ciel Bleu restaurant at Hotel Okura in Amsterdam.</p><p><strong>Flowers for sale on board</strong><br />KLM will be the first Dutch airline to <a href="https://shop.klm.com/nl_en/frederique-s-choice-flowers.html?___from_store=nl" target="_blank">sell fresh cut flowers</a> on board. The flowers are supplied by Frederique&rsquo;s Choice, a company founded by one of the Netherlands&rsquo; first top models Frederique van der Wal. The flowers, orange roses, are produced by a Dutch cultivator using sustainable methods. Frederique will also be onboard the flight to Cura&ccedil;ao which will launch the Festival.</p><p><strong>Delftware proverbs</strong><br />During the festival, all serviettes, headrest covers, coffee cups and even a retro peppermint tin for World Business Class passengers will be decorated with typical Dutch proverbs in Delftware style. The placemats in Economy Class are decorated with images of paintings that are on display in the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum.</p><p>The meals served in European Business Class will also consists of ingredients sourced locally. Passengers will be able to enjoy Dutch films, music and other programmes via the Inflight Entertainment System.</p>]]></description><pp:quotes><pp:quote>

]]></pp:boilerplate><description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Dutch meals from our own soil and sea </strong></p><p>The meals KLM is serving on intercontinental flights in World Business Class (WBC) from Amsterdam during the festival are made from all kinds of ingredients produced by Dutch farms, fisheries and suppliers. KLM will serve Willem van Oranje potatoes from Flevopolder, Reypenaer cheese from Woerden, and wine from the coastal province of Zeeland. The desserts have been developed by Huize van Wely. The pike-perch with the Zuiderzeezilver label are also caught in the IJsselmeer and Markermeer just north of Amsterdam. A range of Dutch autumn vegetables and fruit also feature on the menus.</p><p>European Business Class is comparable to WBC. Passengers will be offered a smaller selection of local products on the theme &ldquo;A Touch of Dutch&rdquo; and will also be able to savour the delicious Huize van Wely desserts. In Economy Class on European flights, the Dutch touch will feature in large &ldquo;stroopwafel&rdquo; syrup biscuits, cheese crackers, and bread rolls filled with Beemster cheese.</p><p><br />The meals in Intercontinental Economy Class are also typically Dutch. Red cabbage with minced-beef meatballs, or a tasty fish dish with a Dutch-cheese sauce, for example, all highlight the Netherlands&rsquo; food heritage. The Dutch products are available alongside the international onboard meals KLM already serves.<br />During the journey passengers will be entertained by Dutch films, music and programmes via the Inflight Entertainment System.</p>]]></description><pp:quotes><pp:quote>

]]></pp:boilerplate><description><![CDATA[<p>No. 92 is the latest in KLM&rsquo;s series of Delft Blue houses replicating noteworthy Dutch buildings. World Business Class passengers have been receiving the miniature houses filled with Bols on flights since the 1950s.</p><p>KLM&rsquo;s Dutch roots are also a central theme in the From Holland Festival. In October and November, passengers on all flights originating in Amsterdam can enjoy products and articles with a Dutch touch.</p><p>The starters, main courses and desserts served in World Business Class were created by the successful chef Mario Ridder of the two-star restaurant De Zwethheul in Schipluiden near Delft. Aside from wines grown in the Netherlands or created abroad, passengers will also have the chance to sample a variety of Dutch snacks such as kroketten, poffertjes and cheese cubes. The Economy Class menu includes meatballs with mashed potatoes, white beans and French beans. Dutch films will also be available on the inflight entertainment system.</p><p>And, during the first month, all passengers can send home a picture postcard designed by the Dutch duo BLOND. KLM will send the cards with the help of PostNL.</p><p>&ldquo;KLM is once again proud to be working with one of the Netherlands&rsquo; most successful chefs.
