Flight schedule
The KLM Cityhopper Embraer 175 aircraft will have a total seat capacity of 88. The service will commence at the start of the summer schedule on the 26^th of March 2023. The flight schedule will be the same from Monday through Saturday, with different times on Sunday.

• From Monday through Saturday, Flight KL1255 will depart Amsterdam Airport Schiphol at 14:25 hours, arriving at Rennes Bretagne Airport at 16:00 hours. KL1256 will depart Rennes Bretagne Airport at 16:30 hours, arriving at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol at 18:10 hours.
• On Sundays, KL1255 will depart Amsterdam Airport Schiphol at 11:45 hours, arriving at Rennes Bretagne Airport at 13:20 hours. KL1256 will depart Rennes Bretagne Airport at 13:50 hours, arriving at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol at 15:30 hours.  

KLM will also observe a minute’s silence at 12:00 hours (LT AMS).

Since Friday, all the departments affected have been constantly and meticulously monitoring the security situation. All instructions issued by the authorities are, of course, being followed. Extra security checks are being implemented by the French government at Paris’ Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG). And we are in close contact with our colleagues in Paris.

Communications about the arrival of KLM’s first Boeing 787 Dreamliner, which were planned for Saturday, have been postponed due to the events in Paris. KLM will resume these communications on Tuesday 17 November.

In addition, the group intends to realize approximately 200 million euros of early repayments of bank debt.

These transactions enable Air France-KLM to lengthen its debt maturity profile while benefiting from favorable market conditions.

• On the Americas network, traffic rose by 4.5% for capacity up by 3.4%, leading to a 0.9 point rise in load factor to a very high level of 87.6%. 
• The Asia network saw a 5.3% increase in traffic for capacity up by 6.0%, the load factor losing 0.6 points to 81.4%.
• On the Africa and Middle East network, traffic rose by 6.7% for capacity up by 8.5%, driven by a significant base effect (capacity reduction of 6.8% in May 2012). The load factor declined by 1.2 points to 74.0%.
• The Caribbean and Indian Ocean network posted a 4.7% increase in traffic for capacity up by 4.5%. The load factor remained virtually stable at 81.0% (+0.2 points).
• The European network saw traffic up by 3.5% for capacity down by 1.7%, the load factor reaching a very high 78.1%, up by 3.9 points. Within the framework of the medium-haul action plan, capacity on the French domestic network was down by 6.0%.

Cargo
The cargo business posted a 6.4% decline in traffic for capacity down by 3.5%, the load factor falling by 1.9 points to 62.3%. Unit revenue per available tonne-kilometer (RATK) ex-currency was down versus May 2012.

Recent developments

• As announced at the time of the launch, a progress review on the Transform 2015 plan is scheduled with the Air France unions during the second half of 2013. While the plan is on track, the turnaround in the medium-haul and cargo activities has been slowed by, notably, the difficult economic environment within Europe. Ahead of this update, a series of working groups are starting to review the initial results and potential measures. This preparatory work will enable discussions to be organized rapidly in the autumn.
• As of September 2, Air France will operate three weekly frequencies in Airbus A380s to Shanghai-Pudong airport, thereby becoming the first European airline to serve the Chinese economic capital with its double-decker super jumbo aircraft. The Air France-KLM group is the European leader between China and Europe, operating 93 flights a week linking its Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam-Schiphol hubs to nine destinations in Greater China: Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Canton, Chengdu, Hangzhou, Wuhan, Xiamen and Taipei.
• Within the framework of its commitment to sustainable development, Air France completed the renewal of its 3,650 hold baggage containers on its long-haul aircraft. These new, lighter containers will enable annual savings of 2,500 tons of kerosene and an 8,000-ton reduction in CO2 emissions. For the eighth consecutive year, Dow Jones ranked Air France-KLM the air transport leader and a component of the DJSI index evaluating companies on their sustainability performance.

• On the Americas network traffic rose by 3.2% for capacity up by 4.3% (opening of Minneapolis in the United States and Montevideo in Uruguay as well as strong increase in capacity to Rio de Janeiro), leading to a one point decline in load factor to 87.0%.
• The Asia network also saw significant capacity development with routes to Fukuoka (Japan) and Kuala-Lumpur (Malaysia) as well as added capacity to China. Overall capacity therefore increased by 8.8%, a rise which was almost matched by traffic (+8.2%).  The load factor stood at 84.9% (-0.4 points).
• On the Africa and Middle East network, traffic declined by 0.9% for capacity up by 2.0%. The load factor gave up 2.3 points to 78.3%. 
• The Caribbean and Indian Ocean network recorded a 6.8% decline in capacity. Traffic was down by 5.7%, leading to a one point rise in load factor to 84.7%.
• The European network saw traffic up by 0.8% for capacity up by 0.5%. The load factor stood at 76.4%, up by 0.3 points. 

Cargo
In April 2013 the decline in cargo traffic was inferior to the reduction in capacity (-4.6% and -5.0% respectively).  The load factor gained 0.3 points to 64.4%. Unit revenue per available tonne kilometre (RATK) ex-currency was down versus April 2012.

Recent developments
 Air France-KLM and Etihad reinforced their code sharing agreements for the Summer 2013 season on flights to Australia for the group, and certain European destinations for Etihad.

Air France became the first airline to launch a digital press service via iPad, giving passengers access to free downloads of a selection of newspapers and magazines.

• On the Americas network the 3.8% increase in capacity was mainly driven by Latin America, with North America having recorded a capacity reduction. Traffic rose on both networks, (+8.3%). The load factor therefore gained 3.7 points.
• The timing of Chinese New Year in January this year, as well as the ongoing effects of last year’s disaster in Japan saw a 2.3% decline in both traffic and capacity on the Asia network. The load factor remained stable at 85.3%.
• The Africa and Middle East network saw a 2.1% increase in traffic with capacity down 2.8%. The load factor therefore gained 3.9 points to 80.5%. The Africa network continues to recover, while the Middle East remains affected by political instability.
• On the Caribbean and Indian Ocean network, traffic rose 0.5% with capacity down by 0.5%. The load factor gained 0.9 points to 85.5%.
• The European network saw traffic up 8.1% for capacity up by 2.3%. The load factor stood at 68.2% (+3.6 points).

Cargo business
Cargo recorded a sharp drop in traffic (-10.3%) linked to the weak economy and the timing of CNY. A 6.0% reduction in capacity limited the decline in load factor to 3 points at 61.4%. Unit revenues ex-currency were down on January 2011.

Recent developments

• Air France has continued to invest in its Business class cabin to offer its customers the best of French lifestyle. In this way, Air France is continuing to enhance its in-flight menu, with dishes designed by top chef Joël Robuchon, as well as its cabin interior with the introduction of a new "full-sleep" seat. 
• Air France now partners BlueNext, the world’s leading environmental trading exchange for CO2 emissions.  
• KLM has announced the resumption of four weekly non-stop flights between Amsterdam and Quito. Flights previously stopped off in Bonaire. 
• KLM launched a new service, 'Meet & Seat' allowing passengers to choose who they sit next to via Facebook and Linkedin.

Passenger business
Activity in December 2010 was affected by severe weather conditions in Europe and the United States which led to the cancellation of 5,100 flights, flattering the yea-on-year comparison.  December capacity was up by 6.3% and traffic rose 7.5%, leading to a one point gain in load factor to 81.5%. The group carried 6.11 million passengers, up 11,7%. Unit revenue per available seat kilometre (RASK) ex-currency was stable relative to December 2010.

• On the Americas network traffic and capacity rose 9.0% and 6.7% respectively, driven mainly by Latin America. The load factor gained 1.8 point to 86.7%.
• The Asia network saw a 4.0% rise in traffic for capacity up 3.2%, leading to a 0.7 point rise in load factor to 83.0%. However Japanese activity has yet to recover to the levels prior to last year’s earthquake and tsunami.
• The Africa and Middle East network saw a 5.1% rise in traffic with capacity up by 0.8%. The load factor therefore gained 3.4 points to 82.1%. The Africa network continues to recover, but the Middle East remains affected by political instability.
• The Caribbean and Indian Ocean network recorded a 3.6% rise in traffic for capacity up by 4.1%. The load factor stood at 83.3% (-0.4 points).
• The European network was the most affected by the severe weather December 2010, contributing to the sharp year on year rise, which was also attributable to the opening of the Marseille Base in October 2011. Traffic and capacity rose 14.8% and 14.9% respectively. The load factor was stable at 71.0% (-0.1 point).

Cargo business
In December 2011 cargo traffic and capacity were virtually stable (-0.3% and +0.1% respectively). The load factor amounted to 68.1% (-0.3 point). Unit revenue per available tonne kilometre (RATK) ex-currency declined slightly.

Recent developments

• On December 5th, Air France confirmed the launch of the province bases of Nice and of Toulouse in Spring 2012. Nice will add six new destinations to the current 16, while Toulouse will add 16 destinations to the 12 currently served.
• In May 2012, KLM will launch a route from Amsterdam to Lusaka, in Zambia.
• From December 2011, Air France’s fleet of Airbus A380 is fully equipped with the Premium Voyageur Cabin which is now available on all destinations of its long-haul network.
