To help customers maximize their travel options, SkyTeam has enhanced its Round the World planning tool on skyteam.com.  This easy-to-use, online service helps customers select flights for their ideal journey. Once customers have built an itinerary, they can share it with Facebook friends by posting their travel plans directly on their walls.

• Booking must be made before 31 March 2013, using the flights of any of the 19 SkyTeam member airlines
• Travel can begin 7 days after purchase
• First outbound intercontinental flight must be flown before 30 June
• The maximum stay is six months, the minimum stay is ten days
• A maximum of five stopovers is permitted
• Total travel may not exceed 26,000 miles

Below is an example of how a customer can save up to approximately € 600 if a SkyTeam Round the World fare is booked through KLM in the Netherlands, using additional SkyTeam carriers like Delta, Korean Air and China Southern:

The regular price including surcharges and government tax, adds up to a total of € 2,901.82
With the Round the World promotion, the fare will be € 2,302.82
Total mileage: 18,125 miles

Conditions:

• Booking must be made before 30 September 2010
• Travel must start on/after 15 July 2010 and on/before 31 December 2010
• The maximum stay is 6 months, the minimum stay is 14 days
• A maximum of five stopovers is permitted
• Total travel miles may not exceed 20,000 miles (except for travel originating in Kenya, in that case 22,000 miles is permitted)
• Airline members issuing the special Round the World promotion tickets are: Aeroflot, Aeroméxico, Air France, Alitalia, China Southern, Czech Airlines, Delta, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Korean Air and TAROM. Vietnam Airlines will join from 20 July 2010.

This special fare cannot be booked online
