This service offers a restaurant-like experience through an improved presentation of the freshly prepared dishes, allowing customers to decide for themselves what and when they wish to eat. The “when” aspect only applies on daytime flights. “Anytime For You” was previously introduced on flights to Bangkok and Amsterdam. From 1 July, this new concept will also be available on flights from Osaka.

]]>KLM’s standard mealtimes don’t always coincide with customers’ needs and wishes. With “Anytime For You”, KLM offers passengers the freedom to plan their flight in terms of their own preferences with regard to food and drink, but also with regard to rest and work times.

Choice of five dishes

The “Anytime For You” menu consists of five dishes. The cold, warm, savoury, sweet and tasty-treats dishes can be prepared at any time (during daylight hours) and served in restaurant style. Passengers can also opt for a World Business Class three-course meal. Both menus are served by hand, ensuring that trolley use is kept to a minimum.

Personal service schedule

Cabin crew play an integral part in “Anytime For You”. They have completed special training in preparation for this new service. Crew set a personal service schedule in consultation with customers, ensuring that they have more control over their travel experience.

]]>A return ticket to New York will cost €469, while return tickets to Aruba, Bonaire or Curacao will set you back €499. The World Deal Weeks discount tickets can be booked from 7 through 25 September. During this period, you can also book special KLM Package Deals, which include tickets plus hotel and/or car rental.

The world is within reach for more people. This includes KLM’s new European destinations, as well as Sri Lanka, Costa Rica and Mauritius.

The labels on these wines bear reproductions of paintings by the most famous artists of the Golden Age Dutch, which are on display the Amsterdam Rijksmuseum. These special wines were launched with a celebratory wine-tasting event in the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam on 19 July.

]]>The organisers – Activin Wine Group, the Rijksmuseum and KLM – welcomed a number of journalists to the museum to mark this unique collaboration between KLM and the Rijksmuseum. Among the paintings on the labels are Johannes Vermeer’s “The Milkmaid” and Rembrandt van Rijn’s “The Syndics”. The masterpieces depicted on the wine labels are on display in the Rijksmuseum.

The Rijksmuseum Amsterdam is the Netherlands’ leading historical art museum, taking visitors on a journey through famous Dutch art and historical treasures; from the Middle Ages to Mondriaan. In June 2017, the museum welcomed its 10 millionth visitor since it reopened in 2013 following a full renovation. KLM is partner in transport to the Rijksmuseum.

The five wines originate from leading vineyards such as Boschendal (South Africa) and Lapostolle (Chile). With these unique wine labels, KLM hopes to whet the appetites of its World Business Class passengers for Dutch culture and to encourage them to visit the Rijksmuseum, where they can marvel at the actual paintings.

About Anytime For You

KLM launched Anytime For You on 1 July. This service ensures that WBC passengers get more choice and control. In addition to the usual three-course dinner and lunch options, the menu also includes an Anytime For You selection of eight dishes. This includes cold and warm dishes, savoury and sweet, healthy dishes and tasty treats. After the regular meal service, passengers can order from this extra menu during the remainder of the flight. The selected dish is prepared and served restaurant style whenever it best suits the passenger.

In addition to the regular three-course dinner or lunch options, the menu will also include an “Anytime For You” range, consisting of eight different dishes, hot and cold, savoury and sweet, health foods and special treats. Passengers can opt for the regular three-course menu or skip this entirely. After the standard meal service, passenger can order from the “Anytime For You” menu, which can be prepared, served and eaten throughout the flight.

“Anytime For You” will be offered at no extra cost to KLM’s World Business Class passengers. The service concept will be phased in on various flights and, from October 2017, will also be offered on a second route, which has yet to be determined.
