KLM will operate its flights to Freetown and Monrovia using Airbus 330-200s which can seat 267 passengers. Flight KL0511 will depart on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 14.35 from Amsterdam and arrive in Freetown at 19.30, local time. After a short layover, it will continue on at 20.40 continuing on to Monrovia and arriving at 21.55, local time. The return flight will depart from Monrovia at 23.20, local time, and arrive in Amsterdam at 8.10, local time.

Together with partner airline Kenya Airways, KLM will offer Kigali as the 5th destination served directly in East Africa, along with Nairobi, Entebbe, Kilimanjaro and Dar Es Salaam. KLM-Kenya Airways operates a total of 41 weekly flights between East Africa and Europe.

With effect from 31 October 2010, flight KL563 will depart from Schiphol on Tuesdays,Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays at 10:15 hours, arriving the same day in Kigali at 21:25 hours. The return flights (KL564) will depart from Kigali on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays at 22:30 hours, arriving a day later in Amsterdam at 08:15 hours.
