KLM enhances accessibility to Curacao with additional service
Partnership between CAP and KLM diversify current air service from Europe
Curaçao Airport Partners (CAP) and Royal Dutch Airlines (KLM) are pleased to announce their collaboration in securing additional air service from Amsterdam to Curacao as of this coming winter season.
Partnership and the destination of Curacao are crucial in our network and we appreciate the quick and efficient way we worked together with CAP in materializing the additional flights.
KLM is a very important partner and with the celebration of 80 years of continued service to Curacao in December 2014, we are very pleased to have secured additional service in a joint effort during a year of celebration. We look forward to the launch of this service and will work together to ensure that these additional flights will become a success.
In addition to daily service from Amsterdam, as of Monday, November 17, 2014 KLM will add an A330-200 aircraft on Monday and Wednesday with a convenient later departure from Amsterdam at 14:15. Traffic data has shown that there is a growing market in Europe beyond Amsterdam especially in Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Spain, France, Sweden, Denmark and the United Kingdom. With an afternoon departure the additional flights will have, there will be more opportunities and focus on generating more passengers from these connecting cities in Europe.
CAP and KLM have worked closely together in securing the service and will receive the support from CTB and CHATA to promote and create the necessary awareness around the additional flights.
