New working procedures for cabin crew

KLM must transform itself to better fulfil the wishes of its customers and to achieve greater efficiency. This also goes for our cabin crew. Yesterday, we shared key aspects of our proposed new working procedures with our cabin attendants. The procedures broadly revolve around a different approach on board, with more cabin crew giving direct service to our passengers, with less supervision. The total number of employees on board will remain unchanged. This implies that there are no redundancies. The new working procedures present new opportunities, as well as more varied work patterns. They also allow us to offer customers more tailored services.
