KLM Renews Cooperation with Leading Dutch Chef Jonnie Boer

Summary

From today until 26 October 2015, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will be serving meals created by the leading three-star Dutch chef Jonnie Boer in World Business Class on flights departing from Amsterdam.

KLM is pleased to be cooperating again with Jonnie Boer. Our World Business Class passengers greatly appreciated the meals he created in 2010. This acclaimed three-star chef fits in well with KLM. Jonnie has developed three brilliant menus for the coming nine months.
Executive Vice President KLM Inflight Services Paul Elich
We are honoured to be cooperating with KLM in this exceptional manner. In close cooperation with the KLM team, we provide an amazing culinary experience of the highest level.
Jonnie and Thérèse Boer

KLM continually invests in its inflight products. For example, the World Business Class cabin interior was completely revitalised across the Boeing 747 fleet. And the Boeing 777-200 fleet is currently being updated with a new cabin interior in both World Business Class and Economy Class. What’s more, KLM has been serving World Business Class meals created by leading Dutch chefs for several years now. KLM continues to invest in its service on board by working with leading chefs and sommeliers. Past menus have been created by Sergio Herman, Richard Ekkebus, Mario Ridder and Richard van Oostenbrugge.

Together with his wife Thérèse, Jonnie Boer owns Restaurant De Librije in Zwolle. This three-star restaurant is ranked amongst the world’s top 50. Thérèse Boer is the restaurant’s hostess and sommelier. In addition to the restaurant, Jonnie and Thérèse also own the Librije’s Shop, Librije’s Hotel and Librije’s Atelier cookery and wine academy.
