Florence Becomes KLM’s Latest Destination

Summary

With effect from next autumn, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will be launching a new scheduled service to the Italian city of Florence, capital of the region of Tuscany and broadly regarded as the birthplace of the Renaissance. On commencement of the forthcoming winter season on 27 October 2013, KLM will operate 12 flights a week on this route using Embraer 190 equipment.

KLM will fly twice daily to Florence on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays; one flight a day will be operated on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

KLM's SkyTeam partner Alitalia will operate flights on the Amsterdam–Florence route for the remainder of the summer season at a frequency of twice a day using Airbus A319 equipment.
